Solution:

Let the number of Hindi medium NCERT books and English medium NCERT books are 2n and 3n respectively.

Total number of Hindi medium private books = 4200 - 2n

Total number of English medium NCERT books = 75% of total number of English medium private books.

Total number of English medium private books = (100/75) ×
3n = 4n

Average of Hindi medium private book and English medium private books = 3600
(4200 - 2n + 4n)/2 = 3600
2n = 7200 - 4200 = 3000
n = 1500

So, Total number of Hindi medium NCERT books
= 2 × 1500 = 3000

Total number of English medium NCERT books
= 3 × 1500 = 4500

Solution:

Total number of employees working in day shift in all the three companies together = 108 × 3 = 324

Let number of employees working in day shift in company A and company C are 2x and x respectively.

Number of employees working in day shift in company B
= 324 - 2x - x = (324 - 3x)

Total employees working in both the shifts together in company B = 270

Number of employees working in night shift in company B
= 270 - (324 - 3x) = (3x - 54)

Total employees working in both the shifts together in company C = 270

Number of employees working in night shift in company C
= (270 - x)
